MINERAL INSULATED HEAT CONDUCTOR WITH ADD-ON COLD ENDS

 

Mineral insulated heat conductors, made up of a live inner wire (filament), which is insulated against the metal sheath with magnesium oxide in the hot part and the cold part. A connecting sleeve suitable for a vacuum and temperature resistant serves to fix the cold leads to the hot part, and is welded with the hot part and cold part. It causes a small expansion of the outer diameter, which is insignificant for many applications.

 

The benefit of the add-on cold ends lies in the clear definition and limited tolerances of the lengths of hot parts and cold parts and the high temperature stability up to 800°C.
What is special about our customer-specific solution is that its lengths of hot parts and cold parts can be defined according to your wishes with the help of the table below. We moreover offer you a large selection of individual solutions.
